Reb Shimon bar Yochai argues on the Zohar-Parshas Yisro

Yerushalmi Shekalim
Perek 6 Halachah 1 (16b)

How were the Luchos written?

1) R. Chanina ben Gamliel says 5 Dibros on each Luach (5+5)

2) The Rabonon says 10 on each Luach (10 +10)

3) R. Shimon bar Yochai says 20 on each Luach (20+20).
10 in the front & 10 in the back of each Luach.

4) R. Simai says 40  on each Luach (40+40)
10 Dibros on all 4 sides of each Luach.

The Zohar* holds, like Reb Chanina Ben Gamliel. that it
had  only 5 Dibros on each Luach.(5+5)

It seems, Reb Shimon bar Yochai, who said each Luach had 10 Dibros on both sides. (20+20)
would argue on the Zohar who says it had 5 Dibros
on each Luach.

Did you know? (124)

The Chasam Sofer writes about a kabala He has from his Rebbe- Reb Mendele Lilig Zt"lwho had a Kabbala  from the Shev Yakov :

"Anybody who learns between the readings of the  night time Megillah and the daytime Megillah is guaranteed to be a Ben Olam Haba"

In case of trouble ח"ו

The Kabbalists write, to say the מ"ב מסעות in order to be saved from bad situations. The משנה ברורה
תכ"ח: כ"א  quotes the מגן אברהם in the name of the Sefer צרור המור:

“The 42  מסעות correspond with the שם מ"ב*"

PREVENTING WITCHCRAFT-PARSHAS VAEIRO

The Sefer שלחן העזר quotes the סהמ"ט* (I don't know the Roshei Teivos- Please help)

"Chasanim & Kallos before walking down to the Chupa untie all the knots they are wearing.

The reason for doing so is to prevent from כשפים (witchcraft) which might put a spell on the couple and prevent them from having relations.

Another option of making this witchcraft ineffective is by placing a piece of gold or a gold coin in the Chosson's pocket.

The above is not a Minhag but a Segula people adopted to prevent witchcraft from harming them.

Ten Purim Facts

1)Although there are 5 Megilos, Chazal
(Bavli & Yerushalmi) refer to, only
Megillas Esther as a Megillah.
They never refer to the other 4 as a Megillah.

2)There is a Machlokes if banging at Haman,
is for children only (Maharil)
or for adults as well (Chacham Tzvi)

3)Minhag Lita is to bang only where Haman and
his father are mentioned.(Haman ben Hamdasa)

4)According to Kabbalah you should bang, only
with your feet.

5)According to the Targum Sheini, The 50 Amos
pole, they hung Haman on,  came from Noach's Teivah.

6)The name of the horse Mordechai rode on,
was שפרגז  "spare gas" (Targum Sheini)

7)The Mateh Moishe writes the reason Chazal
said Chayav -L'Besuma because drunk
people are loose with their money and will
give more to the poor

8)According to the Tur  a Chosson should not
attend Shul for Megillah. He should have ten
people come to the house to Lein Megillah.

9)The Seder Hadoros writes, When R. Yehudah
Halevi wrote the Piyut "Adon Chasdecha" **
the Ibn Ezra added a Stanza at the letter Reish.
R.Y.Halevi was so impressed, he gave
him his daughter for marriage.
Hence two stanzas for the letter Reish.

10)The Shu"t Dvar Shmuel (193) criticizes strongly
the printers of Meseches Purim***. He claims
it is Chilul Hatorah to imitate the Gemoro and
turn it into a song and comedy.

Because the זהר says so

.

   Parshas Hashavua ויקהל

The זהר פ' ויקהל דף קצ"ה writes:

" All nights have exactly  12 hours. Even in the winter months there are only 12 hours of night. the extra hours of night are considered daytime"

The מעשה ארג*,based on this זהר, says that when
the משנה
פ"א מ"ב מס' ברכות  refers to שעות it means שעות שוות (equal timing -60 minutes to the hour nightime & daytime winter & summer)

His claim is against, the Rambam & all the Poskim
who all hold that the Mishna is referring to שעות זמניות

(daylight of the day is divided into 12 this equals a Halachic hour for  daytime Halachos and same is done for night time.)

When the משנה says The בני מלכים get up at ג' שעות
It depends what time of the year it is (שעות זמניות).

The מעשה ארג is so convinced to be right that he writes,
Anyone disagreeing with  him is like disagreeing with
the שכינה, being the זהר says so.

The אגרות משה
או"ח ח"ב :כ strongly opposes such a statement
and writes on the contrary, Those having doubts on all the
Poskim are the ones who are having ח"ו doubts on the שכינה.

The Unbelievable Story of the plot next to the Megaleh Amukos PART II

READ PART 1 HERE

This unbelievable story is not to be believed, because
If this or a similar  שאלה were to have been asked from any Rav,
there is no way the Rav would come up with such a  Psak.

If the Chevra Kadisha accepted money for a particular grave
and decides to cheat him, the onus is on the Chevra Kadisha
to do Teshuva by placing  him in the grave he originally
purchased, regardless who is next to him.

There is no need for the Niftar to attend a Din Torah and there
is no need for the Niftar to remove himself from the old grave
and bury himself in the new one etc.

The Chasam Sofer writes if you mix Halacha with Nistar (Kabala) you end up with Kelaim (Shatnez)

Here too if you mix a Chasidishe/Kabalistic story with a
Psak from the Bach (Ish Halacha) you end up with Kelaim.
(Halacha that doesn't make any sense)
 .

The real* story was:  The Megaleh Amukos had a son R. Yitzchok
who was Niftar at a young age. He was buried next to his
father the M.A.. Over the years his Matzeiva disintegrated.
The Chevra Kadisha decided to replace it with a new one.
The script on the old Matzeiva was illegible.Very little was
known about him so they wrote on the Matzeiva "Yagid Olov Reio"
The fact that he was buried next to his great father proves he
must have been a great man .

* I have personally seen a picture of the Yagid Olov Reio
Matzeiva, taken before the war. (WW2)  The name" R. Yitzchok "
son of the M.A. is clearly legible
This version of the story was supposedly recorded in the
Pinkas of the Krakower Chevra Kadisha

ואכלת ושבעת וברכת- When Do You Clean Up?- PARSHAS EIKEV

The Shulchan Aruch (O.Ch.180) writes:
" You may not remove the tablecloth and the bread until after
Birkat Hamazon."

The Levush writes:

"It is proper to clean off the table so you will Bentch at a clean table."

The Kabbalist (Chesed L'Avraham- Azulai)  say not to remove anything from the table until after Birkat Hamazon. Even the leftover bones and peels etc.should stay on the table so the ניצוצות הקדושה (holy sparks) that are attached to them, will be come out through the Birkat Hamazon.

The Kaf Hachayim (Palagi) makes a compromise between the Halacha (Levush) and the Kabbalist) You should collect  the leftovers from all the plates and place it in one plate which shall remain on the table until after Bentching and the rest of the table should be cleaned.

Your Daily Dose Of Kabbalah -The Chasam Sofers Pesicha To Mesechtas Bava Kama

Parshas Hashavua

ובני ראובן בנו את חשבון---ואת שבמה  במדבר לב:לח

The Chasam Sofer in the  הקדמה לסדר נזיקין פתיחה למס' בבא קמא quotes the Rema Mipano ,

שבמה = שור - בור - מבעה - הבער

Simple Pshat on the רמ"ע מפאנו

1) There are 10 cities bordering Eretz Yisrael. (שבמה is # 10)

2) There are 10 מדות of קדושה

3) There are 10 מדות of סטרא אחרא (opposing קדושה)

4) These 10 bordering cities are located between Eretz Yisroel and
Chutz Laaretz, from where the קליפות can enter.

5) The קליפות are the 4 אבות נזיקין

6) The מלחמת מדין transformed these cities with מזיקים to holy cities.  עבר הירדן

אבי מורי ר' צבי יהודה בן ר' משה ע"ה   added the following
ויקרא שם המקום ההוא מחנים

מחנים                              = two sets of מחנות = 4 x מחנה
הקב"ה built the first wall of the   מחנה           בית המקדש = 103           1x 103

אברהם added  the second wall and called it             הר   =205+1 ( כולל   2x 103

יצחק added  the third wall and called it                    שדה  =  309              3x 103

יעקב added the wall and called it  בית                         =   412                 4x103

                  עגל = 103   - שור בור מבעה הבער= קליפות/מזיקים

ועשה טוב בקש שלום          שדה-בית - מחנה- הר   opposing the מזיקים

What A Joke ?

           כחוכא ואיטלולא

The Mishna Verurah(24:7) writes in the name of the קדמונים
that by placing the ציצית over the eyes when saying
Parshas ציצית one is guaranteed not to become blind.

The Mishne Verura continues that
"a blind man may hold his  ציצית in his hand even though it says וראיתם אותו since others can see it.

However, the blind man should not place the ציצית over
his eyes since it will seem כחוכא ואיטלולא." [It looks weird and
laughable for a blind man seeking protection of not
becoming blind.]

I was just wondering when some צדיקים do strange things during their עבודה no one looks at it as weird.

On the contrary, it is assumed they have  deep Kabbalistic hidden  כוונות.

So too why is it considered weird & laughable when a blind man would place his ציצית over his eyes and we don't assume it to have a deeper meaning?

Seems) that this privilege is only applicable)   ווייזט זיך אויס
to צדיקים. When they act strangely during performing Mitzvohs  we may not question it. We must assume they are performing with hidden Kabbalistic כוונות.

For the המון עם (simple Yid) they have to be careful not to
do strange actions while performing Mitzvohs otherwise it

will be  כחוכא ואיטלולא

Possible explanation of the סוד המרכבה

The Gemoro Rosh Hashana 11a says:
Chodesh זיו is the month of אייר. The reason it is called Ziv , is because the Avos were born in Nissan.
By the time the month of Ziv (Iyar) arrived all the Avos were already born . (see Rashi)
The Rema (E.H. 126:6 ) writes:
“Since there is a Machlokehs how to spell  אייר   (if 1  or 2 Yuds) we try to refrain from writing Gittin, the entire month .”
Reb Akiva Eiger quotes  the Yalkut with the ראשי תיבות of אברהם, יצחק ,יעקב ,רחל
From the ילקוט we see that the spelling of אייר is with 2 Yuds.
The אלשיך in Parshas ויחי writes " the Merkava requires to
have all three אבות both Yitzchok & Yakov (two yuds)
Hence, this explains why the ראשי תיבות  of  of אייר
is the סוד המרכבה

Chasidim follow the Shulchan Aruch

The Mechaber (Shulchan Aruch O.Ch.8:11) writes:

"The Ikar Mitzvah of Talis Katan is to wear it on
top of the clothing worn so it will be seen at all times
and remember the Mitzvos".

The Magen Avraham quotes from the Kesavim
(Kisvei Arizal) not to do so but to wear it underneath
the clothing.
