A heavenly decree

 

 

    

The ערוך השלחן, writes, "Not having ברכת כהנים (in Chutz L'aretz )
every day has no legitimate reason. It is a bad Minhag. However,
we can't do anything about it. It is as if a בת קול from heaven appeared telling us not to do it.

There were 2 Gedolim from the previous generation who
attempted to change the Minhag. They both failed and 
said that it must be מן השמים not to change the Minhag."
