PUZZLING, It s not תרומה טמאה   There are100 olives in the basket, 60 of the olives are תרומה & also 60% evenly split between the תרומה and the חולין olives are טמא 60 תרומה X 60% טמא equals 36 olives תרומה טמאה 40 חולין    X 60% טמא equals 24 olives חולין טמאה 60 תרומה X 40% טהור equals 24 olives תרומה טהורה 40 חולין   X 40% טהור equals 16  olives חולין טהורה If one olive was taken from this basket and it's unknown which one, 1) we must assume because of רוב that it is (תרומה (60%  2) We must also assume that it is (טמא (60% 3) We must also assume because of רוב that it NOT תרומה טמאה  -  Only 36 out of the 100 is תרומה טמאה therefore רוב is not תרומה טמאה This olive is תרומה and is also טמא yet is not תרומה טמאה
