the Rashi, when כלל ישראל are חס ושלום in
need of punishment then Hashem sends רודפים
to curse & harass the Yidden. 

 

By doing so the Yidden become the נרדף 

and ואלוקים יבקש את נרדף even if the רודף 

is a צדיק and the נרדף is a רשע. Kal V'Chomer

when the רודף is the רשע

 

This spares כלל ישראל from punishment.

דף יומי סוכה נ"א ע"ב שעליהן הלוים עומדין בכלי שיר ואומרים שירה            Did they sing the שיר של יום?               The Sefer תורה לדעת* asks: a) Did the לויים actually sing the שיר של יום b) or they said it while the music was playing? The Mishna in  מס' סוכה it says, שעליהן הלוים עומדין בכלי שיר ואומרים שירה The Mishna in 'מס' תמיד ז':ד it says,השיר שהלויים היו אומרים. The Rambam, (תמידין ומוספין פ"ו ה"ז)  writes,  ודברו הלויים בשיר From these three sources, it seems that they didn't sing the שירה but said it. A, Ganichovsky responded "בשלא כדרכה" *Perhaps we can assume, R Dov Landau Shlita was thinking during קריאת התורה פרשת כי תצא  if one is מוציא שם רע on his אנוסה, being there is an existing לאו of לא יוכל שלחה Is there an additional לאו of לא יוכל לשלחה of מוציא שם רע? To this R. A, Ganichovsky zt"l responded, this is only possible if he was מאנס her שלא כדרכה. *Tens of תלמידי חכמים responded with the same answer

Can you crack the code?

 

Reb Avrohom Ganichovsky zt"l in his younger years 

 

This past Shabbos, I read parts of a biography on Harav Hagaon R. Avrohom Ganichovsky zt"l (R.Y. Tchebin) R. Avrohom Ganichovsky, whenever he met his friend להבדיל בין חיים לחיים, Harav Hagaon R. Dov Landau Shlita (R.Y. Slabodka) they spoke in learning in code language. One mentioned a few words or a מראה מקום and the other responded the same way. They both understood what the other meant to say. The ספר gives an example and writes, They met each other on Sunday פ' כי תבא and R. Dov Landau told him that during קריאת התורה of the past Shabbos he was thinking, "האם לא יוכל לשלחה חל על לא יוכל שלחה" To this Reb Avrohom Ganichovsky responded "בשלא כדרכה" There is no explanation in the ספר the meaning of this conversation or what's it's all about. Can you crack the code?

The מהר"ם שיק מצוה תר"ה  writes, Those years where the following year will be a שנה מעוברת (leap year), The חתם סופר would be יוצא the Mitzvah of זכירת מחיית עמלק twice. The second time when they leined the  Parshas Hashavua of כי תצא. The reason was, according to the Gemoro people forget after 12 months. Therefore we have פרשת זכור once a year, not to be עובר the לאו of “לא תשכח”.    So as not to have from one פרשת זכור to the following one, more than 12 months, the חת"ס made sure (in a leap year) to have כוונה to be יוצא the Mitzva at the קריאה of the Parshas כי תצא and again on פרשת זכור.   It is interesting, in the תשובות(E.H. 1: 119) The Chasam Sofer writes that "In a leap year Hashem changes the human nature and it takes 13 months to forget instead of 12 months.

8)  Rema : Sunday (or 2 Sundays) before Rosh Hashana

Parshas Hashavua   (ויתד תהיה לך על אזנך (דברים כ"ג: י"ד     In the times of the second Bais Hamikdash, there were different sects and cults. One of them was the ”Issi’im”  חז"ל called them “טובלי שחרית”.(went to the Mikveh every morning).  The טובלי שחרית considered טהרה and hygiene as one and were very strict about it. They went to the Mikveh several times a day. They started the day by going to the Mikveh. They also went to the Mikveh before the meals, after relieving themselves and if they touched someone who was from a lower cast.   They also had חומרות in Hilchos Shabbos. They held that all utensils even a  כלי שמלאכתו להיתר   is Muktzah. Shovels which are לאיסור מלאכתו was for sure מוקצה even when used לצורך גופו. They  wouldn't relieve themselves  the entire Shabbos  because they wouldn’t use a shovel on Shabbos.     Now that you know this piece of history you will understand the Gaon on the last תוספתא in מסכת ידיים (שהוא מלא צואה ולזה לא מהני טבילה)
