pasuk in Parshas ויקרא

“כי כל שאור וכל דבש לא תקטירו”
Rashi
explains, the translation of "דבש"
is sweets (nectar)
derived
from any fruit (כל
מתיקת פרי קרוי דבש)
How
did Chazal know that one of the Shivas Haminim are dates ,
If
sweets derived from any fruit, is called דבש maybe it is
an apple
or
some other fruit?
