No Licorice This Shabbos


  
No Licorice next week.

The Sefer Chasidim (253) writes, not to chew licorice roots
on Erev Yom Kippur & Erev Tisha B'av.

It flavors the saliva in the mouth which should not be
swallowed on Y.K. or Tisha B'av
