TWO ZUZIM FOR A GOAT, IS IT A FAIR PRICE OR OVERPRICED ? My nephew Harav Hagaon R. Yizchok Meir Goldstein Shlita(מחבר ספרי שפתי יצחק ועוד) writes in his Haggadah:
The Gemoro Brachos 44b says,
א"ר חסדא אפילו גדיא בר זוזא
Rashi explains שמן וטוב ששוה זוז From this Rashi we see that a good & fat goat is worth only one Zuz The buyer paid double the amount for his goat. (way overpriced)  |
