Did You Know (160)

In Shulchan Aruch (Rema/Mahril) there is no
mention for a woman to place her hands on 
her face to cover her eyes.

It says to place  the hands in front the candles
to block the light from the candles*.



*Perhaps this is how Minhag of waving hands over candles started.

Eating Milchigs On Shavous

The Mishna Verura (494 sk 12) says one of the reasons for eating Milchigs on Shavuos  is because after Matan Torah, they couldn’t eat meat...
