"Rosh Hashana" is mentioned only once in all of  תנ"ך, (Yechezkel 40:1) It is not on the first day of Tishrei but the tenth day (Yom Kippur) בְּעֶשְׂרִ֣ים וְחָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנָ֣ה לְ֠גָֽלוּתֵנוּ בְּרֹ֨אשׁ הַשָּׁנָ֜ה בֶּֽעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ בְּאַרְבַּ֚ע עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה אַחַ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֻכְּתָ֖ה הָעִ֑יר בְּעֶ֣צֶם | הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה הָיְתָ֚ה עָלַי֙ יַד־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיָּבֵ֥א אֹתִ֖י שָֽׁמָּה: Did you know? (234) In many Shuls, the חזן starts with המלך at his own seat and only afterwards does he continue at the עמוד. One of the reasons for doing so is because it says in the פסוק ויהי בישרון מלך בהתאסף ראשי עם יחד שבטי ישראל When we are crowning the מלך מלכי המלכים it is necessary for the ראשי עם (Chazzan) יחד שבטי ישראל to be together with the rest of the congregation.       Did you know? (226) The words "באהבה וברצון" are added to the שמונה עשרה and at קידוש when Yom Tov falls on Shabbos. The מטה משה writes "Yomim Tovim were given on הר סיני. and were originally accepted forcefully כפה עליהם הר כגיגית.  Shabbos was given in מרה (before מתן תורה) and was accepted באהבה וברצון with love & favor. That is the reason why we add באהבה וברצון on Shabbos. R. Yitzchok Donath זצ"ל (my uncle) was מוסר נפש risking his life together with the Veitzener Rav zt"l so that שופר would be blown on ראש השנה for 1,400 children who were destined to the crematoria the following. day.. He enabled them with their last מצוה in this world  "תקיעת שופר". My uncle too was נפטר with his last מצוה of תקיעת שופר יהא זכרו ברוך
