The מהרי"ל דיסקין said that when being מעביר סדרה you should say in the Targum "ויעבד" (V’yabeid) and not the way it is printed in the Chumashim* "ועבד“ (Vavad) otherwise, you are not יוצא שניים מקרא ."
* incorrectly translated "HE DID" instead of
"HE SHALL DO"

Targum to V'Yabeid
