In the Torah it's called מצבה
In Nach it's called ציון*
In Chazal it's called נפש
*Many people mispronounce ציון
with a חולם Tzi-yon( like הר ציון)
the proper pronunciation is
ציון with a שורוק Tzi-yoon
or Tzyin (Chasidish etc.)
