ויבא עד חברון — כלב לבדו הלך שם ונשתטח על קברי אבות

The רשב"ם holds that the only individuals who are גדולים וחשובים are permitted to visit קברי צדיקים.

עיין אגדות מהרש"א שם:

די"ל דהעמידו לאליעזר שם דלא ליתי איניש דלא מעלי התם, דלא ניתן רשות ליכנס בקברי צדיקים אלא לאדם גדול וחשוב כפרשב"ם.

                           סכנה גדולה
                         GRAVE DANGER

The Satmar Rebbe R. Yoilish Teitelbaum Zt"l writes, "based
on the Zohar (אחרי )  going to קברי צדיקים is only for those
who know and understand the secret of connecting with the צדיק.

Those who do not understand it, there is no point in
going and it is even a סכנה גדולה to go there."
