This Rebbi would tell the class that on Rosh Hashanah, Yankel the Schneider (tailor), Berl the Shuster (shoemaker), and every member of כלל ישראל — even you children — will be crowning the  מלך מלכי המלכים הקב"ה. Rav Soloveitchik said that this image made a profound impression on him. So much so that every Rosh Hashanah, throughout his life, he continued to picture himself during the מלכיות standing among all of כלל ישראל, crowning Hashem as the מלך ישראל.    w
