No such Mitzvah

ויקח עמרם את יוכבד דדתו

There is a common misconception that מחזיר גרושתו
(remarrying one's own divorcee) is a מצוה.

There is no such מצוה* but as the חינוך תק"פ writes
"It's preferable to do so" (if she is not an evil person)
