Is it a forged?

The ביאור הגר"א יו"ד קע"ט ס"ק י"ג writes, that the בית יוסף agrees with the
רמב"ם that כישוף,שמות, לחש,שדים, קמעות is all a שקר (none existent)

The גאון claims that the study of philosophy the רמב"ם was a student of, influenced and led him to believe wrongly that it is all a שקר.
 
הרה"ג א'מ' שך זצ"ל claimed that in the Lita they held that the Maskilim forged this ביאור הגר"א. The תלמידי חכמים in the Lita held the גאון would never have criticized the רמב"ם
