The Ibn Ezra  in Hakdama writes the Persians copied theirs
from the Megilah The Mahrsha Chulin 139b seems to
hold the Persian edition was first

The Brisker Rav Zt"l explains "The Megilah Mordechai wrote was
a kosher Megilah but wasn't part of כתבי הקודש The אנשי כנה"ג
rewrote it in א"י  and then became part of כתבי הקודש"

3) In תרגום שני on מגילת אסתר, it says, that Haman told Achashveirosh about the Yidden that they are different and have weird Minhagim. 

 The תרגום שני lists all the Minhagim, Haman complained about. 

One of them was, “On שבועות, they go on top of the Shul's roof and throw down apples.

5) The גמרא says ( Sanhedrin 64b)  "כמשוורתא דפוריא."
Rashi explains “On Purim, children made a fire  
in a pit and jumped over it.”

8) According to most Poskim, with this week's reading of Parshas זכור, we are מקיים the מצוה דאורייתא of זכירת מעשי עמלק

Based on the שלחן ערוך או"ח תרנ"ב:ב it would be forbidden to make Kiddush (eat) before being מקיים the מצוה דאורייתא of זכירת מעשי עמלק.

The ערוך השלחן writes one may, however, drink a hot cup of coffee Shabbos morning before being מקיים a מצוה דאורייתא.

9) Unlike Ashkenazim, Sephardim never say יוצרות during Davening.
The only exception is on Shabbos Parshas זכור when even Sephardim say יוצרות.
