  מ​שנכנס אדר מרבים בשמחה

  • ​
    The רמ"א (O. Ch. 493) writes that
    on Lag Baomer ומרבין בו קצת שמחה

    If on Lag Baomer where all it says is to increase with
    a little (קצת) Simcha, Many ​wear in בגדי שבת
    (shtreimel etc.) and dance all night in front of a fire, 
     
  • Why then with the arrival of אדר
    where there is no mention of קצת don't we do at least
    the same if not more שמחה than on Lag Baomer?
