Zero strikes

All three  weekday שמונה עשרה in the entire month of Nissan are different than most weekday שמונה עשרה of the year.   ? The first מקור (source) we have, to strike the chest when saying  (חטאנו פשענו ) in the שמונה עשרה, is in the של"ה and the  Sefer מקור חיים (Bachrach). In the Kitzur Halachos, the מקור חיים writes that "It is only done on days תחנון is said". Hence, Since תחנון is not said in Nissan, one should not strike his chest @ חטאנו פשענו in the שמונה עשרה the entire month.
