TO SAY OR NOT TO SAY
The Rema (O.Ch. 123:6) writes, The Chazan at the end of 讞讝专转 讛砖"抓 does not say 讬讛讬讜 诇专爪讜谉 讗诪专讬 驻讬.
The Mishna V'rurah explains the reason not to say it is because the Chazzan will be saying 转转拽讘诇 of the
Kaddish after 讜讘讗 诇爪讬讜谉. (not to be repetitive)
The M.V. also quotes the 砖诇"讛 and the 讙讗讜谉 who argue and hold he should say it. The Mogen Avraham
compromises to say it quietly,
Perhaps the same reasoning would apply during Selichos at 砖诪注 拽讜诇讬谞讜*.
Since the Chazzan ends the Selichos with 转转拽讘诇 of the Kaddish. It would be repetitive to say both 讬讛讜 诇专爪讜谉
& 转转拽讘诇, therefore, 讬讛讬讜 诇专爪讜谉 is said quietly
