This is also the reason, most Shuls have the Minhag to say "讗讘 讛专讞诪讬诐" even when Erev Yom Tov falls on

I have a problem with this. Every day of the Jewish calendar, from Tishrei 1 to Elul 30 has experienced countless misfortunes and terrible tragedies. There are simply too many terrible tragedies for us to be able to remember them all.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem is that very few people repent or improve because of the numerous mourning days on the Jewish calendar; most of the time, the only thing these mourning days accomplish is to make us unhappy.
