讗诐 讘讞讜拽讜转讬 转诇讻讜 - 砖转讛讗 注诪诇讬诐 讘转讜专讛
It is said in the name of R.
Chaim Brisker zt"l on the Pasuk 讗讚诐 诇注诪诇 讬讜诇讚, " A person
is (讬讜诇讚) born
诇注诪诇 to be 注诪诇讬诐 讘转讜专讛. While he is in his mother's womb and the Malach teaches him 讻诇 讛转讜专讛
there is no 注诪诇讜转 讘转讜专讛, therefore, he needs to be born".
I believe that studying mussar books designed to combat: anger, greed, jealously, wasting money, lust and hate are more helpful than studying laws that do not apply in our times.
ReplyDeleteIn the 1990s, the Gedolim attempted to decree guidelines to limit the amount of money we spend on celebrations, including the elimination of the vort ceremony.
These guidelines were ignored, so we still continue to spend huge amounts of money on celebrations, that would be better spent helping the poor and kiruv rechokim.
