Piyut I saw in the Sefer
"חיים שיש בה"* quoting R. Yosef Chaim Zonnenfeld Zt"l in
the name of the Chasam Sofer.
This Piyut encapsulates the
Chanukah story.
חשמונאים נלחמו ונצחו כל
היוונים
חושים נכנסו ופינו
כלי
ההיכל
חביבים נמצאו ובקרקע
כד השמן
חתום נמצא ובטבעת
כהן הגדול
חיבתם נגלית והספיק
כל השמונה
חכמים נמנו וקבעו
כסליו הבא
ח' נרות ולגמור כל ההלל
