The Mogen Avraham #494 asks: How can we say on the first day of Shavuos
(the sixth day of Sivan) “ 讬讜诐 诪转谉
转讜专转讬谞讜”, we Pasken like R. Yosi who holds, the Torah was given, on the seventh of Sivan.

(Shavuos) answers the Magen Avraham’s Kushya.
I can’t understand
the Mogen Avraham Kushya and why the
Chasam Sofer needed to answer it.
The question doesn’t even begin, The Nusach we have for the last thousand years is “讝诪谉
诪转谉”, not 讬讜诐 诪转谉. The word 讝诪谉 can be said on the day before Matan Torah. The 讚专砖讜转 专"讬
讗讘谉 砖讜注讬讘 * says this to be the exact reason why we say 讝诪谉 and
not 讬讜诐 .
