The Netziv writes, "when Chazal said  
     אל תהיה ברכת הדיוט קלה לפניך
they were not referring to Yidden.

When comparing one Yid to another Yid 
one cannot be considered a הדיוט.

Chazal were referring to a Goy and even

his Bracha should not be taken lightly."
