The rumor of his death was greatly exaggerated. Got away with murder.


The Torah journal " Hadvir" in the year 1919, 
reported that R Meir Simcha Hakohen  zt"l (Ohr Sameach)
was murdered  while he was walking on the street.
( pogrom)
He actually was niftar  in year 1926. (five years later - age, 82yrs.)
