A person made a neder not to have Hanaah from any male chicken (rooster). When the chicken jumped on the tree it was a safeik whether it was male or female. Now that it has laid an egg we know it's gender, we may eat the apples.

However, the Gemara says on Beitza 7 that chickens can lay eggs at night, just they won't be fertilized. So I will stick to my answer.
