According to the Chasam Sofer (Y.D. 2:283) since Kosher Mezuzos, have a Chezkas Kashrus, there is no need to check them again for Chaseiros V'yaseiros. All you
need to check is, that no mold has crept in.

According to R.S.Z. Auerbach zt"l, Mezuzos that are wrapped in saran wrap or glass casings (no moisture) needs no checking .
