Interesting Hanhogos and Pesakim for Rosh Hashana from the Chasam Sofer

There is no chiyuv to go to the Mikvah on Erev Rosh Hashana. The only time there is a Chiyuv (Tahara) is on Erev Sholosh Regolim

Hataras Nedarim he made on Erev Yom Kippur and not on Erev Rosh Hashana

He insisted the Chazan say
נקדש, - נעריצך
at the end of the Piyut
דרי מעלה עם דרי מטה
otherwise you miss out the Mitzvah Deorysa of
ונקדשתי .
To be Mekayam the Mitzvah, the Chazzan needs to invite, to be Mekadesh Hashem.

For Tashlich all he said were 3x the Pasuk Mi Keil Kamocho and no other Tefilos.

He was Makpid not to eat nuts only on Rosh Hashana and not on the rest of Aseres Yemei Teshuva
