Some Poskim hold, it is preferable לכתחילה to understand the פירוש המלות of every word in פרשת זכור, Rashi has 3 translations of the word אשר קרך בדרך  1) מקרה          - happened - coincidence  2) קרי וטומאה  - made them טמא with משכב זכר  3) קור             - cooled them off --------------------------------------------------------------------------             Did you know? *According to the רמב"ם the מצות זכירת מחיית עמלק is not a מצוה דאורייתא בזמן הזה  The רמב"ם in ספר המצות at the end of מצות עשה  enumerates 60 מצות ההכרחיות (obligatory Mitzvos) applicable to all, in all places and all times (בזמן הזה) מצוה קפ"ט the מצות זכירת מחיית עמלק is not one of the 60 מצות because the רמב"ם holds that it is not (נוהג בזמן הזה (מדארייתא שמעתי ממורי ורבי הרב הגאון ר' שלמה מילר שליט"א*
