"Is ראובן allowed to marry the wife of לבן?"

ראובן is the son of יעקב the son of רבקה
the sister of לבן
(ראובן is not a grandson of לבן in this משל)


The (שו"ת חתם סופר (אהע"ז ח"ב קכ"ט  concludes
after a lengthy 61/2 column תשובה
It is פשוט that לכתחילה we don't allow to get married.
