       PUNISHABLE BY TORAH LAW

The  שו"ת חתם סופר (Shu”t Y.D. 2:155) writes in the name of

the אחרונים “You can’t rely on the אגדה of בת כ' לא חטאה

שהרי אינה בת עונשין .

According to הלכה, once you become a גדול with years

(13 -12) and סימנים, you are חייב & punishable on all the
חיובי תורה of בי"ד של מעלה ושל מטה".

The חתם סופר claims, that the שיעור of 20 years

Is applicable only on עבירות of the דור המדבר

קודם מתן תורה. This אגדה does not apply

today after מתן תורה
