DID YOU KNOW? (191)     Are Gedolim pictures טמא? The שו"ת שלמת חיים רנ"ז (R. Y.Ch. Sonnenfeld zt"l) was asked, if one may hang pictures of Gedolim in the Sukah being the יערות דבש and ב"ח hold, one may not possess pictures of humans because a רוח הטומאה hovers  over the picture. Would this apply even to Gedolim pictures? R.Y.Ch.S. answered that those who are lenient and hang Gedolim pictures in their homes should do so in the Sukah as well. Those who are concerned (with the יערות דבש and ב"ח) should definitely not hang up Gedolim Pictures in the Sukah.
