(משלי יא כח) "בוטח בעשרו הוא
יפול"
קורח בישראל והמן באומות העולם; ושניהם שמעו לנשיהם, ושניהם נפלו
The two wealthiest people in the world listened to their wives
and had their downfall מדרש משלי
I'm not sure פשט in this Midrash, Is it,
a) only the wealthy who shouldn't listen to their wives.
b) even the wealthy shouldn't listen to their wives.
c) even when listening to their wives (a good thing to do)
the wealthy aren't protected from downfall.
