שמיני - פרשת פרה
The last time טהרת אפר פרה אדומה was done.
The ר"ש* (R.Shamshon
-Shanz) writes, " In the times of the אמוראים they still had אפר פרה אדומה.
The מדרש לקח טוב**
" R.
Yochanan said from the day of the Churban Bais Hamikdash
there was no more אפר פרה אדומה"
The חיד"א ***
writes, "The אמוראים had אפר פרה אדומה and I am sure the אריז"ל had טהרת אפר פרה אדומה done to
him by אליהו
הנביא.
From then on he had רוח הקדש"
(The חיד"א admits that he has no source for this)
