There is a מחלוקת in the
Mishna between the תנא קמא & ר' יהודה , How many מלקות one gets for being עובר
on a לאו
According to the ת"ק
he gets 39 מלקות. According to ר"י he gets 40 מלקות
How would it be possible for
a person* to receive the same amount of Malkos according to both ( ת"ק
& ר"י)
*He is healthy and
no need to reduce the Malkos.
